Genie Shield

Genie Shield is proprietary technology designed to guard against Pay Per Click fraud and poor quality traffic sources so that advertisers can feel comfortable that they are receiving only traffic that works and converts for them.

Genie Shield consists of the following tools:

Conversion Tracking

This new tool was developed in-house and allows GenieKnows.com advertisers to track the conversions they see and understand more about their return on investment, or ROI. Advertisers can easily setup conversion tracking within their accounts and monitor the number of conversions occurring and their ROI on the money they spend on PPC campaigns.

Auto Click Eliminator

This new tool is used to scan traffic sources and look for automated clicking on paid listings. These fraudulent traffic sources can be spotted and removed immediately thus protecting advertisers from paying for bot traffic or scripted traffic.

Paid-To-Click Traffic Eliminator

This new tool can spot traffic from URLs that are involved in an incentivized, paid-to-click program. This type of traffic can often appear legitimate however clicks generated are from non-interested users who are compensated in some way for simply visiting a website briefly, regardless of whether or not they have any interest in the website itself.

Click Pattern Analyzer

This tool allows GenieKnows.com to dig even deeper into raw click data to spot click patterns based on user activity. This can include anything from multiple clicking from similar ip addresses to poor clicks coming from known open proxy servers.

IP and Referrer blocking

We are able to micro-manage on a per-URL or per-IP basis: GenieKnows.com advertisers can rest assured that if they have any issue with traffic sources, they have the ability to block clicks based on the referring URL or the IP address of the user clicking.
