Perfect performance in the park 5 out of 5 stars

I’d forgotten how great it is to see a play in Point Pleasant Park! I just saw a preview performance of MacBeth, and it was fantastic! The acting was some of the best I've seen locally (and if you think these are just students, think again - some of these actors have been on the world's stage). The Cambridge Battery was the perfect backdrop, and the eerie fog that crept in towards the end of the night couldn't have been more fitting. We planned ahead and brought folding chairs, blankets and munchies, but you could easily just drop in and rent one of their chairs ($2 each) and buy their snacks. Two other things you might want to bring: bug spray and a wee flashlight (for the 15-minute walk back to the parking lot, as there are no lights within the park itself). The recommended donation is $15/person, and it’s totally worth it. What a great way to spend a midsummer night!
