A sandwich secret worth sharing

I popped into Rudy’s for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. It’s a small place, but I was impressed with the layout. As soon as you walk in, there’s a help-yourself coffee station, with more blends and flavours than I’ve seen in most coffee shops. Then there’s a cafeteria-style lineup, with a variety of sandwiches and baked goods, followed by the daily hot meals. I bought a turkey-cranberry sandwich and a muffin, and both were extremely tasty (freshly made that day but wrapped for convenience). I was greeted by all the staff, despite the fact that there were lots of customers and the phone kept ringing with what sounded like catering orders coming in. The place itself is nicely decorated, painted in warm funky colours, and has a few tables and chairs too. It’s tucked away though, so it’s easy to miss (it was the sandwich board out front that caught my attention), but it’s worth stopping by for something quick and fresh.
