The Pogue makes great wings – really big and juicy – and they’re only 25 cents each most nights of the week. Good burgers and fish & chips too. They also have some traditional Irish fare, like stew and steak & Guinness pie.
I do have one complaint: quite often, it takes awhile for the waitstaff to notice you, especially if you sit in the booths on the left-hand side. The pub is long and narrow, and if the staff are at the other end and/or not paying attention, they won't see you. Also, the pub can get extremely crowded (mostly university students), especially after 9pm or if there’s a live band, so that might affect when you want to go there.
I would have gave it 4, but they charge cover on weekends, doesn't make sense to me to pay a cover charge in a pub. Lot of chicas though which gives it technically 3.5 in my book.
