An open door for sailors and citizens alike 5 out of 5 stars

The Mission is intended to be used by seafarers, obviously, but we’ve been lucky enough to drop in there unexpectedly. We often walk through HalTerm on the way to Point Pleasant, and at least twice have suddenly been caught in torrential rains. The volunteers at the Mission couldn’t have been more welcoming: lots of hot coffee, phone and internet access, even musical instruments and a pool table, if you need to stay awhile. I can see how the Mission would be a place where sailors can reconnect with loved ones back home, and make new friends here too. We feel safe walking through the terminal knowing the Mission is always there, and we were grateful for the hospitality we received on those occasions.
