I used to love this bookstore, but now it's so overcrowded and messy that I hardly ever go in. Books are stacked all over the place - in boxes, in piles, on the floor, on stairs - everywhere! Sure they have tens of thousands of books, but it would take a lot of patience and a dust mask to find what you want. And the shelves are so high, you'd need a ladder to read what's up there. Even the opening of their "sister store" Jade W up the street didn't seem to give Doull's more room. What was once quirky and enjoyable is now a fire and health hazard. I wish it could get its act together again.
