Yummy steak, seafood and spice cake

The Cellar didn't look like much from the outside, so my expectations were fairly low, but the interior is very warm and inviting (although a little outdated in parts). Unlike the Cellar in downtown Halifax, this location is completely above-ground, and has a slightly more upscale vibe. We waited a long time (20 minutes) between getting our drinks and having our food orders taken, but other than that, the evening went well. We all enjoyed our meals (steaks, scallops, pasta), and I highly recommend the warm spice cake with rum sauce for dessert. A little pricey if you're going for a casual dinner, but overall, worth the drive out to Bedford.
