GenieKnows employee blogs? Great idea! Much exciting research takes place at GenieKnows and who better to talk about it then those doing the researching.

With both technical and general presentations and demonstations in the works, this summer promises to show huge advancements in GenieKnows Local Search as we role out new products and improve the user experience of the local search engine. Most notably right now is the ability of local business owners (or fans of a particular business) to submit business data including location, products, services, and hours of operation. Included in our short-term tasks is a method to automatically analyze and merge these new and updated business submissions into our regular business repository so they can be viewed by users as soon as information is available.
