Our local mapping technology is something that we're very proud of at GenieKnows.com, and this week we've tweaked many of the existing features with some cool and colourful upgrades.

Here are some of those upgrades: updated city labels, railway and ferry data for Canada added, cleaner and highlighted street and highway data (green for major highways and orange for roads of importance), coloured regions for parks, shops, airports and universities for Canadian metro areas, and a general improvement in street data within the more densely populated cities across the US and Canada.

All-in-all the map loads faster and looks way better - adding up to a sharper product. Special thanks goes to Chris Adams in particular for his diligent work behind the scenes.
