The GenieKnows crew were out in force at the Sheraton Hotel in Halifax for a special announcement on August 27th.

The Department Education announced a new program called 'Accelerate Nova Scotia'. The program set out plans to help fund applied research for students based in Nova Scotia.

We are delighted to lend our name to this announcement and we hope to access more of the bright minds that come out of our local universities such as' Acadia, Dalhousie and SMU Universities.

The press and media folks from Global TV and CTV were very interested in chatting with Ashley George and Jacek Wolkowicz from GenieKnows - and the Minister of Education (Marilyn More) also had time to chat too.

They were very keen to find out from Ashley and Jacek about the intern experience at GenieKnows.
